Academy of St Olave’s on 25 Sept – live!

After a year and a half of being silenced, York’s chamber orchestra, the Academy of St Olave’s, celebrates getting back to live concerts with a popular programme in aid of Jessie’s Fund.

The Academy of St Olave’s and Jessie’s Fund have strong links: the orchestra’s director is Alan George, Jessie’s father and a trustee of the charity, and the orchestra has fundraised generously for Jessie’s Fund in the past.

If you’re going to be in or near York on Saturday 25 September, do come and feast on a programme which includes Mozart’s Symphony no 40 and his Clarinet Concerto (soloist: Lesley Schatzberger). For more details and to book tickets, click here.
