We’re delighted that staff at Bishopthorpe Palace, the office of the Archbishop of York, have chosen Jessie’s Fund as their Charity of the Year for 2019.
David Atkinson, Palace Warden said, “Staff nominated various charities and then took a vote on which one they would like to support in the coming year. Jessie’s Fund was the clear winner. We look forward to working with the charity to learn more about it and to raise much needed funds to enable more children to be reached through music.”
Staff will raise money in various ways, from a quiz night to soup lunches, bake and bottle sales to a sponsored ‘learn a musical instrument’.
We look forward to hearing their progress and to meeting up with them during the year.
