Making music for Jessie’s Fund

We’re very fortunate in having lots of supporters who not only love music, but are also good at playing it! Cathy Ibberson is a music therapist who works with children at Martin House, the hospice which looked after Jessie. She’s also raised funds for us through her music, most recently having written and performed a Lockdown Song for our 2.6 Challenge. You can see it here, with lovely photos added by Gavin Mist.

Louise Brown has been fundraising for Jessie’s Fund at her concerts in East Knoyle for several years and has raised over £2,000 for us. Another concert was planned to take place recently, but had to be cancelled due to the lockdown, so she recorded this song and sent it to her usual audience with a suggestion that they might like to contribute so that our important work with children can continue.

Thank you to Cathy and Louise, and to all our musical supporters for your efforts on behalf of Jessie’s Fund.
