Following a very successful festival last year, the second Stokeseley Songfest took place over the weekend of 21 – 23 February, at Stokesely Methodist Church, and once again was supporting Jessie’s Fund.
This was a cross-generational community event offering an eclectic variety of daytime workshops (with a focus on the voice) for families and all ages. There were also two evening concerts and a ceilidh.
Over the weekend more than £500 was raised for Jessie’s Fund. A big thank you to Julia Haigh, whose brainchild the Stokesley Songfest was.
