Supporter Stuart Pomeroy has made an amazing commitment to Jessie’s Fund. To mark 25 years of Jessie’s Fund next year, he is planning to raise £50,000 for Jessie’s Fund by matching people’s donations up to a total of £25,000 between now and the end of 2020. His campaign is called ’25 to 50′, and honours his late wife, Tamara. Stuart and Tamara had already decided to leave a legacy to Jessie’s Fund before Tamara died in 2015 – like Jessie, from a brain tumour.
Stuart says ‘In the years since Tamara died, I have reflected on our earlier view about giving money to charities when we die. Wouldn’t it be better to make donations to projects that I can see and influence during my lifetime? Wouldn’t it be even better if I can encourage others to join me to take the important work of Jessie’s Fund forward?’
If you would like support Stuart’s campaign and help Jessie’s Fund as we approach our 25th anniversary you can donate here, and Stuart will double your donation. We are hugely grateful for his generosity and initiative.
