Turning crisp packets into money

Students at Archbishop Holgate’s School, in York, are supporting Jessie’s Fund, along with another local charity, with a great scheme which costs them nothing, and turns crisp packets and Pringles tubes into money. They get paid £1 per kilogram of empty packets, and by June they’d raised £80 – that’s a big crisp consumption! It’s great that what would otherwise be thrown away can be recycled and also raise money for good causes – thank you, Archbishop Holgate’s students.
