Our popular training course ‘Making Music with Special Children’ returns in Autumn 2026. Our London course has a new venue in LSO St Luke’s, and a slightly earlier date of 29th and 30th September. Our York course remains at York CVS Priory Street Centre on the 9th and 10th November.
The course is two days of hands on music-making, suitable for anyone who wants to build their confidence in using music with children and young people with a range of complex needs.
Feedback from previous attendees includes:
“Being shown a few simple things we can do to make delivering a music lesson so easy! I loved that is was so hands on! The expertise and experience of Mark and Vicky was amazing! I loved everything about it! I was surprised at how confident I now feel to deliver music lessons.”
“The practical activities that were led by the course tutors. The singing session and the session with the guitars/ukuleles/pianos were delivered so that you could directly relate what you were learning to your place of work and how it would positively impact students. The tips and tricks were fantastic! It was lovely to share ideas from different professions, between staff who work in education and who work in hospices.”
